Skinny: The best receiver in the nation might not just be in California this season. At least that’s what Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton standout Sean Bailey hopes to make people think as he hits the gridiron full-steam this upcoming fall.
Bailey, easily at least a top five receiver selection in the nation, is a versatile athlete. He can return kicks, defend the best wide receiver on the other team, or receive a pass himself and take it to the house.
“I’m a smooth route runner,” Bailey said. “I’m a smooth runner with run-away speed. I’m a playmaker.”
Watching two minutes of Bailey’s highlight tape, and it’s easy to see that he’s a truly special player – but that’s expected. It’s in his genes.
Bailey is the son of former Atlanta Falcon A.C. Bailey. Being the son of a former professional football player, he has been around some of the greats including - Deion Sanders.
”Deion is a friend of the family,” Bailey said. “I’m going to camp there at FSU and at Georgia.”
