The battle between Auburn and Georgia for Tannor will end soon

You've heard this before if you have been following recruiting in the South. One of the top prospects in the state of Georgia is down to the Auburn Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Same song, new verse, and the prospect featured this time is Caleb Tannor.

Auburn has always recruited the Peach State hard and every head coach in Athens (Ga.) wants to keep the best at home. Tannor is a target for each program and he is set to take his final visit before he makes his decision this weekend.

Tannor was at Georgia last weekend and he will be on the Plains on Saturday. He wanted to give each school one final look before he makes his decision in the coming weeks.

"I have been to Auburn and Georgia a lot and I like a lot of the same things about each school, so the race is real close right now between those two,"said Tannor.

"I had a good trip to Georgia last weekend and I will be at Auburn Saturday. That will be my last visit before I commit to one of them. I know I am close, but I will have some real thinking to do when I get back home."

The four-star linebacker out of Lithonia (Ga.) Miller is planning to commit towards the end of July at this time. He feels good about taking that week after his visit to Auburn to figure out which school is best for him.

"When I am to Georgia, it is just a great vibe, but it is the same at Auburn, so that is why it is so tough for me. The coaches are cool with me, I like how I feel when I am on each campus and the reason I am not committed to one school yet is because it is so tough to pick between the two.

"I feel these last visits will help me and I am looking forward to being committed going into my senior year. I have great connections with each school, so I know it won't be easy."

There are no questions he is looking for answers to this weekend at Auburn and Georgia has made their final pitch, so Tannor is looking forward to one more trip to Alabama, seeing how he feels while there, then heading back to make his decision.

If Tannor has a leader in his mind, he did not drop any clues to who it is.

"Neither school is recruiting me harder than the other one right now, so many things I like are the same in each school and now we just have to see who is going to be first in line when I come to my decision.

"Both schools want me, both coaching staffs make me feel important and I know Auburn and Georgia are great schools. I have a big decision ahead of me."

When asked to describe what he thinks about when Auburn comes to mind, Tannor said, "Great campus, great fans, great coaches and a home feeling."

When asked that about Georgia, Tannor said, "About the same."
