Rivals.com takes a look at how members of the 2007 Rivals100 are faring after one full college football season and where they stand going into 2008 spring practice.

1. Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
Freshman Recap: Played in 10 games, 138 of 245 for 1254 yards, 7 TDs, 6 INTs and 2 rushing TDs for 3-9 Notre Dame.
Spring Status: With the quarterback job his, looking to take the next step as Notre Dame's starter.
2. Joe McKnight, RB, USC
Freshman Recap: Finished the season with 94 carries for 540 yards and 3 TDs, 23 receptions for 203 yards and 1 TD, 16 punt returns for 124 yards for 11-2 USC.
Spring Status: Fighting to be the lead back in a loaded USC backfield.
3. Eric Berry, DB, Tennessee
Freshman Recap: Thirteen starts, 83 total tackles (57 solo, 29 assists), 2 TFL, 6 pass breakup, 5 interceptions for school-record 222 return yards and 1 TD, 2 FR for 10-4 Tennessee.
Spring Status: Set to start at strong safety for the Vols.
4. Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
Freshman Recap: Played in 11 games, 61 of 141 for 892 yards, 7 TD and 5 INT, 1 rush TD for 9-4 Michigan.
Spring Status: Has filed a waiver with the NCAA to gain immediate eligibility after transfer from Michigan, but will likely have to sit out next season.
5. Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games, 7 total tackles (6 solo, 1 assist), 1 sack, 2 TFL, 1 FF, 1 QB hurry and a blocked punt for 9-4 Florida.
Spring Status: Working to lock down a starting spot at defensive end this spring.
6. Everson Griffen, DE, USC
Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games, 21 total tackles (15 solo, 6 assists), 5.5 sacks, 2 FF, 2 PBU for 11-2 USC.
Spring Status: Penciled in as a starter at defensive end.
7. Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina
Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games and made three starts, 26 total tackles (16 solo, 10 assists), 4 sacks, 2 TFL for 4-8 North Carolina.
Spring Status: Working through some nagging injuries, should be a major factor on the defensive interior for the Tar Heels next fall.
8. Ronald Johnson, WR, USC
Freshman Recap: Played in 13 games, 4 carries for 27 yards, 7 rec for 110 yards and 1 TD, 25 KO ret for 620 yards, 2 tackles for 11-2 USC.
Spring Status: Looking to prove he can be the team's top deep threat, if not, he might move to cornerback where the Trojans are thin.
9. Torrey Davis, DT, Florida
Freshman Recap: Played in 11 games, 7 total tackles (5 solo, 2 assists), 2 sacks, 1 FF, 3 TFL for 9-4 Florida.
Spring Status: Is off to a somewhat slow start to spring while trying to earn snaps in the defensive tackle rotation for the Gators.
10. Josh Oglesby, OT, Wisconsin
Freshman Recap: Redshirted.
Spring Status: Enters spring as the second team right tackle.
11. Chris Galippo, LB, USC
Freshman Recap: Played in 3 games before freshman season was cut short by a nagging back injury, 8 total tackles (5 solo, 3 asst.) for 11-2 USC.
Spring Status: Competing for playing time at middle linebacker.
12. James Wilson, OL, Florida
Freshman Recap: Redshirted.
Spring Status: Asked for a release from his scholarship with intent to transfer before spring practice started, but is still on campus going through drills and his status remains up in the air.
13. Terrance Toliver, WR, LSU
Freshman Recap: Played in 14 games, 10 rec for 249 yards, 3 TD, 3 carries for 36 yards for 12-2 LSU.
Spring Status: Competing to be the No. 3 receiver for the Tigers behind Brandon LaFell and Demetrius Byrd.
14. Chad Jones, DB, LSU
Freshman Recap: Played in 14 games, 34 tackles (25 solo, 9 assists), 2 sacks, 1 FF, 1 INT, 4 PBU, 17 punt returns for 112 yards, 4 KO returns for 90 yards for 11-2 LSU.
Spring Status: Looking to lock down starting spot at safety for the Tigers.
15. Noel Devine, RB, West Virginia
Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games, 73 carries for 660 yards, 6 TD, 7 receptions for 90 yards, 22 KO returns for 511 yards for 11-2 West Virginia.
Spring Status: Running back spot is his after Steve Slaton left for the NFL.
16. Tray Allen, OL, Texas
Freshman Recap: Appeared in nine games at tackle and on special teams for 10-3 Texas.
Spring Status: Fighting for the left tackle job for the Longhorns.
17. Marc Tyler, RB, USC
Freshman Recap: Redshirted (injured).
Spring Status: Competing for playing time in a crowded Trojan backfield.
18. Chris Donald, LB, Tennessee
Freshman Recap: Redshirted.
Spring Status: Competing for playing time at middle linebacker.
19. Chris Culliver, WR, South Carolina
Freshman Recap: Played in 11 games, 5 carries for 31 yards, 34 KO returns for 809 yards for 6-6 South Carolina.
Spring Status: Getting a shot at safety during spring and currently running with the second team.
20. Ben Martin, DE, Tennessee
Freshman Recap: Played in eight games, had 7 tackles (2 solo, 5 assists) for 10-4 Tennessee.
Spring Status: Enters spring listed as second team right defensive end.
21. Curtis Brown, DB, Texas
Freshman Recap: Played in every game, 12 tackles (10 solo, 2 assists), 1 PBU for 10-3 Texas.
Spring Status: Fighting for playing time in a Texas secondary loaded with young talent.
22. Dwight Jones, WR, North Carolina
Freshman Recap: Did not qualify academically, spent 2007 season at Hargrave Military Academy and re-signed with North Carolina.
Spring Status: Not yet on campus.
23. Ryan Miller, OT, Colorado
Freshman Recap: Played in nine games, started final 7 for 6-7 Colorado.
Spring Status: Working with the first team at left tackle.
24. Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois
Freshman Recap: 13 starts, 54 rec for 676 yards and 2 TD, 32 carries for 158 yards, 10 KO returns for 280 yards, including 90-yard KO ret for TD for 9-4 Illinois.
Spring Status: Enters spring set for his second season as a starting receiver for the Illini.
25. Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan
Freshman Recap: Played in every game, started 11, 52 tackles (35 solo, 17 assists), 1 INT, 5 PBU, 1.5 TFL, 1 sack, 1 FF, 2 FR, 5 punt returns for 23 yards for 9-4 Michigan.
Spring Status: Already has locked down starting cornerback spot.
26. Martez Wilson, DE, Illinois
Freshman Recap: Played in 13 games, 29 tackles (15 solo, 14 assists), 2 sack, 3 TFL, 2 QBH, 1 PBU for 9-4 Illinois.
Spring Status: Enters spring listed as a starter at linebacker.
27. Tyrod Taylor, QB, Virginia Tech
Freshman Recap: Played in 11 games, 72 of 134 passing for 927 yards, 5 TD and 3 INT, 102 carries for 429 yards and 6 TDs for 11-3 Virginia Tech.
Spring Status: Competing with Sean Glennon for snaps at quarterback who he split time with last year.
28. Cameron Newton, QB, Florida
Freshman Recap: Played in 5 games, 5 of 10 for 40 yards passing, 16 carries for 103 yards, 3 TD for 9-4 Florida.
Spring Status: Battling redshirt freshman John Brantley for the right to backup Tim Tebow at quarterback.
29. Kristofer O'Dowd, C, USC
Freshman Recap: Started first four games at center for 11-2 Trojans before injury. Returned from injury for final three games.
Spring Status: The favorite to win the starting job at center.
30. Enrique Davis, RB, Ole Miss
Freshman Recap: Did not qualify academically after signing with Auburn, spent 2007 season at Hargrave Military Academy and signed with Ole Miss in 2008.
Spring Status: Not yet on campus.
31. John Chiles, ATH, Texas
Freshman Recap: Played in 7 games, 1 of 9 passing for 17 yards, 36 carries for 191 yards and 2 TD, 1 rec for 9 yards.
Spring Status: Competing with Sherrod Harris and G.J. Kinne for backup quarterback spot behind Colt McCoy.
32. Cliff Matthews, DE, South Carolina
Freshman Recap: Played in 12 games, started 9, 26 total tackles (20 solo, 6 assists), 2 TFL, 1 QB hurry and 1 blocked kick for 6-6 South Carolina.
Spring Status: Opened last season at defensive end but shifted to outside linebacker after the season started and will remain at outside linebacker in the spring.
33. Doug Wiggins, DB, Western Michigan
Freshman Recap: Played in first four games at Miami, registered 2 solo tackles.
Spring Status: Transferred to Western Michigan.
34. Duval Kamara, WR, Notre Dame
Freshman Recap: Played in 11 games, 32 rec for 357 yards, 4 TD for 3-9 Notre Dame.
Spring Status: Enters spring ready to take on the role of Notre Dame's go-to receiver.
35. Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
Freshman Recap: Played in every game, started 9, 74 total tackles (38 solo, 36 assists), 2 INT, 7 TFL, 1 sack, 4 PBU and 1 QB hurry for 7-6 Alabama.
Spring Status: Running with the first team at inside linebacker this spring.
36. John Clay, RB, Wisconsin
Freshman Recap: Redshirted.
Spring Status: Will compete for carries with Zach Brown, P.J. Hill and Lance Smith.
37. Jerimy Finch, DB, Florida
Freshman Recap: Played in 3 games, broke right leg in third game that ended his season, 7 total tackles (4 solo, 3 assists), 1 INT for 9-4 Florida.
Spring Status: Is a candidate for safety and linebacker jobs and has yet to find a permanent home.

Spring Status: Listed as the backup to senior Tripp Chandler.

Freshman Recap: Played in all 13 games at guard and on special teams for 10-3 Texas.

42. Marcus Gilchrist, CB, Clemson
Freshman Recap: Played in 13 games, 18 total tackles (13 solo, 5 assists), 1 PBU, 4 KOR for 119 yards and 1 punt return for 11 yards.
Spring Status: In the mix at cornerback and be a factor in the return game for the Tigers.
43. Major Wright, S, Florida
Freshman Recap: Played in 13 games, started 7, 67 total tackles (47 solo, 20 assists), 1 INT, 2 PBU, 4 FF for 9-4 Florida.
Spring Status: Slated to start at free safety for the Gators.
44. Aaron Corp, QB, USC

Spring Status: Enters spring just behind Mark Sanchez and Mitch Mustain in the battle to replace departed John David Booty at quarterback.
45. Kendall Smith, LB, Florida State
