Kyahva Tezino is primed for a big junior season after a strong sophomore campaign and his recruitment is already looking great.

The 2015 prospect from Los Angeles Salesian is being heavily recruited by Arizona and assistant coach D'Vah Thomas said the Wildcats' staff is doing a tremendous job early on.
So far, Tezino has offers from Arizona, Cal, Colorado State, Houston, Miami, SMU, UCLA, Utah and Washington State.
"I know Arizona has been on all those guys," Thomas said. "They're doing a great job recruiting. I take my hat off to that staff - coach (Rich) Rodriguez, coach Tony Dews, coach Miguel Reveles, Matt Lubick. Everybody is on Facebook and they're getting after it. They're working very hard."
One other Pac-12 program is also showing lots of early interest but an offer has not come yet.
"Washington is going to be very interested in Kyahva," Thomas said. "They like Kyahva a lot. It's going to be a fight with all these guys."
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Tezino can play safety or outside linebacker, a bonus for programs looking for a prospect who is multi-faceted.
The 2015 recruit could have another big season - after a great off-season - and many more offers could be on the way.
"He has a lot of offers right now, but it's been slowing down recently," Thomas said. "He's just focused on the season and being an anchor on defense. He's coming back as our leading tackler. He's going to have another great season and he's staying humble. He's working very hard, lifting and running. He's looking good. He's faster and stronger and he's motivated.
"He's athletic enough to play safety and physical enough to play linebacker. He might be one of those weak-side 'backers who could drop back and play in coverage and come down in the box to take on the run."
