Texas WR wants to play early
Houston (Texas) Hastings wide receiver Donnie Avery looking to get on the field.
"I hope I can end up somewhere where I can get on the field early," the 6-foot, 180-pounder said. "That will be a factor in my decision. I want to find a way I can get on the field early and help my team win."

Which schools does Avery has his eyes on?
"I really like Michigan and Arizona. I am getting mail from TCU, Texas Tech and Kansas State."
Last season, Avery put up numbers that are catching the attention of the college coaches.
"I had 937 yards receiving last year and scored 11 touchdowns."
This summer, Avery hopes to put his talents on show at camps all over the state of Texas.
"I'm going to go to the Houston camp, the Texas camp and the A&M camp for sure," Avery said. "If it works out, I might try to get to the Colorado camp too."
