Texas WR wants to get better

Many players have trouble admitting their weaknesses and would rather just focus on their strengths. Such is not the case with Seth Edwards of Spring, Texas.
"I'm not a burner or anything, but I have been working at it and really trying to improve on my quickness." Edwards, who is 6-foot-1, 190 pounds and clocks in at 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash, said.

"I have been working out everyday this summer. In fact, I have to go here in a couple of hours and work out some more."
Edwards competed in last weekend's Texas State Seven-on-Seven Tournament and put up some very impressive numbers.
"I think I played pretty well,” he said.
“I had eight touchdowns that first day. On that second day, that heat started to wear me down and I got kind of tired. We lost to Cinco Ranch in the quarterfinals. Don't ask me how because I don't know."
Early on in the recruiting process Edwards has some schools that really stick out.
First and foremost is Stanford.
"I really like Stanford it's a great school, and I think I might like the West coast," he said. "I really want to stay in the warm weather though no matter what."
Some of the other schools include Florida, Ball State, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU and LSU.
"There are a bunch of teams I want to take a closer look at,” he said. “I’m just more focused on getting my speed up to where it needs to be.”
