Texas WR waits for upcoming visits

You can't keep a 6-foot-5, 205-pound wide receiver like Phillip Burley a secret too long from college coaches and that is why the sleeper prospect has exploded with offers from all over the country.
Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Boston College, Kansas, and SMU are all in on Burley with offers while Iowa is showing some very serious interest. His coach, Virgil Crow, says his star player is very open.

"He's going to look around a lot," Crow said about Burley. "I know Missouri, Kansas, Arizona, Texas Tech, and of course SMU are all in the back of his mind. He's really going to be weighing his options and he's deliberating a lot."
That deliberation process has equaled two scheduled visits to Arizona on Dec. 9 and Kansas on Dec. 16.
"I don't think he has anything else set up," Crow said about other visits. "We're going to be taking care of all those hopefully in five weeks after the state championship. The kids, like Phillip, have done a good job of focusing on the task at hand."
As for whether or not Burley and his teammate D'Marcus Lang will end up at the same school is like a coin flip.
"I think its 50-50 chance that they end up at the same spot," Crow said. "I think they're going to both make their own decision. They know that if they don't end up at the same place, they'll still be good friends and keep up their correspondence no matter which colleges they are at."
