Texas WR stays in-state
Sonora, Texas athlete James Elliott had it down to two teams - SMU and Kansas State - but he's now made his decision.
"I committed to SMU and coach Phil Bennett today," Elliot, who will probably play receiver for SMU, said.

"I just liked the academic situation and the school better than the others. I felt like I could come in and play pretty early, too."
Elliot had also visited Texas Tech before making his decision.
Elliot is 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds.
