Texas WR shows off speed

Mesquite, Texas wide receiver Krys Buerck was known as one of the fastest wide receivers in the state, but proved that during testing at the NIKE Training Camp this past Saturday in College Station. Running one of the faster 40-yard dashes and showing well earned his first offer.
"Baylor offered me yesterday," Buerck said. "The Baylor coaches came out here and I found out they offered. It was right after practice actually."

The offer from the Bears definitely is one that has peaked his interest.
"I mean its shocking being the first offer," Buerck said. "It's great and I'm really interested in that school. I'm looking forward to seeing the campus more."
Texas Tech is one school that could jump into the mix with an offer soon. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder says that they've been showing a lot of interest.
"They send me letters, text messages, and I went down there for a visit two weekends ago," he said. "It was pretty nice. I got to meet some of the coaches and I really like their facilities."
Buerck says that Texas is definitely a team he has always liked but the Bears and Red Raiders are also high on his list.
"I've got to talk to my dad, but we're probably going to set up some visits soon," he said. "It's an exciting time."
