Texas WR ready to announce choice

Baytown (Texas) Lee wide receiver Michael Reed has thought through all of his options and has made his college choice.
"I am going to make my commitment to BYU tomorrow when I get to Coach Olin’s office,” the 6-foot-1, 175-pound Reed said. “He’ll help me get them notified, too.”

Reed said the BYU coaches played a big part in the decision.
“The coaches are terrific. They made me feel like part of the family. The whole visit and everything at the school made it feel like home.”
Reed also was impressed with the facilities.
“The facilities are great,” he said. “The only thing that can keep you from improving with equipment like that is you. They’re going to throw the ball. It’s a good offense to be part of if you’re a wide receiver. I’ll need to get stronger and the weight room and stuff will help me with that.”
Reed chose BYU over Baylor, New Mexico and McNeese State.
