Texas WR pulls trigger after visit

Channelview, Texas wide receiver Duriel Harris decided after an unofficial visit this weekend that he was ready to make his commitment.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder took a trip to Baylor this weekend and Harris decided that he didn't want to wait any longer in order to put his name on the list for the Bears.

"Yes sir, I committed to Baylor," Harris said. "They're on top of things like their academics and that comes first. They have a offense where they throw it around most of the time and they've got good coaches. They know what they're doing and I can learn from that and get better.
"They were thrilled and happy that I committed."
When asked if there was just one factor that made Baylor his choice, Harris said he couldn't put his finger on one single characteristic.
"It was the whole thing," Harris said. "With the coaches, I had a good vibe with them and I liked their campus, the field, and everything."
While Harris mentioned he may attend some more camps this summer and look at some other options, he says that he is committed to Baylor at this point.
"It's the right school," Harris said. "I didn't want this to pass me up. I liked everything, so I thought I should go ahead and commit."
Harris makes the seventh commitment for Baylor in the 2008 class. He was being recruited by coach Cornell Jackson.
