Texas WR pulls the trigger

Keller (Texas) Fossil Ridge receiver Michael DePriest liked the coaching staff at TCU. He also liked the coaching staff at BYU. So what did he do when it came time to make a decision?
Well, Fort Worth is much closer to home than Utah, which helped lead DePriest to commit to the Horned Frogs.

“With TCU where it is at, I just felt more comfortable there," DePriest said. “If it was just based on the coaching staffs, it would have been a really hard decision. But being closer to home gave TCU an advantage.”
DePriest, two star selection, was a key receiver for the Panthers on their way to the Class 5A Division I state semifinals. He finished his senior season with 36 receptions for 793 yards and 11 touchdowns.
