Texas WR picking up offers

Wichita Falls (Texas) Rider wide receiver David Nelson continues to receive more attention, and now has several scholarship offers.
“I have several scholarship offers,” the 6-foot-5, 195-pound Nelson said. “I’m expecting others to come, too.”

The list of current offers for Nelson includes Duke, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Purdue, SMU and Texas A&M.
Despite the list of offers, Nelson isn’t ready to take one of the offers, yet.
“I would like to make a decision before two-a-days,” he said. “But, I will probably wait until closer to signing day.”
Nelson is working on conditioning through his team’s off-season workout program.
“Things are going great,” he said. “We are not doing spring ball, so we just work on 7-on-7 stuff during the athletic period for an hour. My teammates and I are really working hard and are believing in our program.
“We have made the weight room our second home, if you will. We are looking forward to making a run to the state championship this year.”
Nelson is planning on attending camps at Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Notre Dame and Kansas State.
“I already went to Texas and Texas A&M’s spring games. I am planning on attending Kansas State’s spring game this weekend as well.”
