Texas WR makes soft commitment
Denton (Texas) Ryan receiver Phillip Jones has made a commitment, but it's one that he says is about 80 percent solid.
"I committed to Oklahoma State about a week ago," Jones, the three-star receiver, said. "OSU really doesn't want me to take other visits, but I'm thinking about taking a few others."

To where?
"I'm set to visit Oklahoma State on January 10," he said. "Then I'm working on something with Missouri and Iowa. I have Houston set up for January 31, that last weekend."
But Jones said he wouldn't rule out making his commitment solid if he sees what he likes at OSU in January.
"They have a great tradition for receivers," Jones said. "And if Woods doesn't come back, or even if he stays, they're going to need some receivers to step in and fill his spot. I think I can do that."
