Texas WR looking hard at three

Spring, Texas, wide receiver Daryl Jones has started to identify which schools he will take official visits to, including one visit already on the calendar.
“Right now, I am the most interested in Stanford, Georgia Tech and Northwestern,” the 5-foot-11, 171-pound Jones said. “I have offers from all of them right now. I have a few other schools that have offered, but right now, those are the main three I am looking at.”

One school holds the top spot on Jones’ list, the Stanford Cardinal.
“I really like Stanford,” he said. “They are a good team with a lot of young guys who can get things turned around the way they need to be. They need a coach and that is something I am going to keep a close eye on. I want to see who they hire and what kind of coaching philosophy he has and how I might fit into that.”
Jones has his first official visit scheduled when he will travel to Big 10 Country on Jan. 14.
“I am going to Northwestern the second week of January,” he said. “I don’t know when I will visit Stanford and Georgia Tech. I will, but I just don’t know when in January they will be. After I make the visits, I will sit down and make a choice of which school I will go to.”
