Houston (Texas) Lamar wide receiver Brandon LaFell has taken one official visit is close to finalizing two more.
“I did visit Arizona last month,” the 6-foot-3, 180-pound LaFell said. “I had a pretty good time on the trip. I have tentatively scheduled a visit to Missouri for the first weekend in November. I’m looking forward to that trip. They have been sending me a lot of mail and information about the school and the program.”
The Tigers aren’t the only Big 12 North program recruiting the three-star rated receiver.
“Nebraska has been recruiting me hard,” he said. “They have told me I would have a chance to get on the field early on in my career. That is something I am looking for. I am looking at visiting there the last weekend of October. I don’t have either it or the Missouri visit completely finalized. If those two dates don’t work, we’ll get one chosen that will work.”
Other schools on LaFell’s list include Houston, Kansas, LSU, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Utah.
“They have all offered me scholarships,” he said. “I’m interested in all of the schools that are recruiting me. I’ll look at what other visits I might take after these others are done.”
On the season, LaFell has hauled in 19 passes for 560 yards and nine touchdowns. He has led Lamar to a 4-2 record.
