Texas WR Johnson getting noticed

With three scholarship offers in hand, Arp, Texas receiver Sedrick Johnson is not likely to stop there.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pounder added early offers from Houston, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M. Now, two more Big 12 schools appear to be close to joining that group for Johnson. Several other schools are going to be heading down for spring practice as well to check out this rising sleeper.

"Nebraska is supposed to be offering me soon and Colorado is waiting on my film," Johnson said. "Michigan is coming down in two weeks to see me. I've also been getting text messages from LSU.
"But, everybody is still even in my mind."
Johnson plans to visit a family member in Houston next weekend and says he may make a stop at the University of Houston while he's in town. He's also talking things over with his coach about attending some camps this summer.
"I'll probably go to a few," Johnson said. "I'm probably going to the NIKE (Training) Camp, but I'm just talking it over with my coach right now."
As for when he'd like to make a decision, Johnson says he wants to wait a while. He doesn't want to stretch things either.
"Maybe late or the beginning of this next season," he said. "I kind of want to wait for a while, but I don't want to wait too long or anything either."
