Scurry (Texas) Rosser wide receiver Phillip Burley has been quite the marked man when it comes to college coaches looking to extend scholarship offers and now the 6-foot-5, 200-pound prospect is ready to take some trips.
Two schools jumped out when Burley was ready to set up his trips and now those two, Arizona and Kansas, are the first visits that he will take in the month of December.
"Arizona will be Dec. 9 and I've set Kansas for Dec. 16," Burley said. "Those schools have just been talking to me a lot, so I decided I'd go ahead and take a couple there. I don't really have a big favorite or anything, but those two are up there."
Burley is also unsure of how many visits he will take before making his decision. Oklahoma State appears to also be in the running though they haven't offered yet.
"They haven't offered yet and they haven't spoken about it specifically, but I like their football program," Burley said about the Cowboys. "I also talk to their coaches a lot."
Burley is also holding offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Boston College, and SMU. He is set to make his decision after he has taken a few of his official visits.
