Texas WR has solid offers

While his teammate, Biren Ealy, seems to receive most of the attention from recruiting analysts when they talk about the Division I talent at Cypress (Texas) Falls High School, college coaches have definitely noticed another receiver on the team, 6-foot-4, 218-pound Iris Williams.
Williams has scholarship offers from SMU, Baylor and UTEP. However, it’s a few other schools that keep calling him that he says he’s more sincerely interested in.

“I’ve been getting a lot of calls,” Williams said. “Arizona, Kansas, Wisconsin, Texas A&M and Baylor, those are the ones I’m really looking at right now. I’d say I’m wide-open between those schools.”
Timed at his high school, Williams says he has been clocked as fast as 4.48 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
He has 10 catches in two games so far this season. He made 25 receptions and seven touchdowns a year ago. He also plays cornerback sparingly.
