Texas WR gets offer No. 3

Copperas Cove wide receiver Rashad Hawk picked up his third scholarship offer this past week and he's already making visits plans.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder found out from UTEP that the Miners were going to be offering him. Though they're up there on his list, they'll have to catch a couple of other schools first.

"Baylor is my No. 1 and then Texas Tech is No. 2," Hawk said. "UTEP, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma State are the rest of my favorites. I just like the new offense that Baylor will have going. They send me stuff and I talk to the coaches a lot."
The text message from UTEP and phone conversation definitely opened Hawk's eyes to the Miners.
"They basically told me at one point that I had an offer," he said. "I called them that night and they said it was coming."
Hawk says he'd like to wait until next season to make a commitment, but a trip to Baylor next week could throw a wrench in those plans.
"I'm going to visit Baylor next Friday," he said. "So, it could be them if I really like what I see there."
