Texas WR claims new offers

Madisonville, Texas wide receiver Brock Taylor tore his meniscus in the second game of his junior season last fall, causing him to miss almost all of his squad's remaining action.
Despite that, many colleges had already taken notice of his speed and game breaking ability in the open field. He has been holding on to an offer from Duke for a while now, and now Taylor is claiming other offers.

"Well, Texas Tech gave me a scholarship," the 6-foot, 175-pound receiver said. "Stanford gave me a scholarship, too."
While other schools such as Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M have shown interest, Taylor has a decent idea of where he would like to go.
"Well, I really want to go to Texas Tech. I've really wanted to go there ever since I was real little. I like them because they throw the ball a lot."
If the Red Raiders have offered and he feels so strongly about the school, why hasn't he committed?
"I've thought about it," he said. "I just ain't for sure yet. I don't really know for sure. I'll probably wait a little while just to make sure.
"I know I'm supposed to go to one of their camps this summer. I'll probably end up going to the Texas camp with Chris (Whaley), too."
Whaley was a four-star running back at Madisonville in last year's class. He will be heading to the University of Texas to enroll as a freshman later this summer.
