Coaches from Florida, SMU, Michigan State, TCU and Iowa have visited his high school recently.
The 6-foot-0, 173 pounder continues to hear from "Florida, Oklahoma, TCU, SMU, Iowa, Michigan State, Texas, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Baylor and Iowa State."
He returned from a junior day visit at SMU last weekend.
On defense as junior last season, Singleton racked up 30 solo tackes and four pass breakups.
His coach just timed him in the 40-yard dash on turf at school and he had a 4.35 second time.
He said of his strong points: "My quickness, physicalness, speed and height."
He would like to make his official visits to Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, and Florida.
"I have no idea where the fifth visit would go."
"I would like to stay close to home and will look at whether or not I like the school as a fan and feel comfortable there."
He plans to attend the Nike camp May 4 at Texas A&M and an Oklahoma camp session.
His cousin is Terrance Brooks of the San Francisco 49ers.
