Texas WR catching eyes and passes
Lewisville (Texas) Hebron wide receiver Bernard Daniel has one school pursuing him a lot and his coach believes that more will be interested as the season wears on.
“Bernard is our leading receiver so far this year,” Hebron coach Brian Brazil said. “We have 14 guys who have caught passes so far, so we’re not limited to just a guy or two, but he’s at the top of the list right now.”

Daniel has caught the eye of the Texas Christian coaches already this season.
“TCU has shown a lot of interest in him,” Brazil said. “He’s running good routes and finding himself open. Coaches have noticed that on the film from the early games we’ve had and they know he will just get better.”
The 6-foot, 205-pound Daniel has developed a good relationship with quarterback Justin Pitruchi.
“He’s adjusting to Justin well,” the coach said. “They are both going to just keep improving. The more schools get the chance to watch them both, the more schools are going to be interested. We’ll do what we can to get the film out there as we finish more games.”
