Texas WR cancels remaining visits

The recruiting intensity was starting to heat up for Moderick Johnson. The 6-5 wide receiver from North Shore in Houston gave the Kansas coaches a Holiday greeting.
“I committed to Kansas yesterday,” Johnson said. “My visit to Kansas was great and I like the fact I have a chance to play early. I want to go in and work hard to earn a position as a freshman. All of their coaches are new and they are from winning programs and I think they will win there.”
Johnson had visits in January set up with Arizona, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Louisiana-Monroe. He said he will not take any more trips.
