Texas WR a lock for the Orangemen
Arlington (Texas) Bowie wide receiver Brandon Belvin has made up his mind after another day of thinking.
“I’m headed to Syracuse,” the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Belvin said. “It’s a lock. It’s the best fit for me. I have talked to the coaches already. They were very glad to hear it. And I’m excited about going there.”

The coaches at Purdue, UCLA, San Jose State and Utah will have to look elsewhere for receiver help and they’ll have to wait until Tuesday to begin that search.
“I’ll call the other coaches tomorrow,” he said. “I will get them told so they can make other arrangements.”
