Texas tight end headed to the Big East

Charlie Copa is one happy camper. This Austin Westlake High School star in Texas just made his commitment and he's sounds very excited about his college future.
"I went to Syracuse on Sunday and go back last night," Copa said. "I committed today. I really like coach (Doug) Marrone and the staff. They all seem to be on same page, as a team, as a system. They have great academic poeple and the facilties are awesome. The players are great and a real class act. They are going to be good, no a great porgram. I want to be a part of that."

Copa, 6-6 and 245 pounds, plays tight end. He believes that his skills fit the Orangemen system very well.
"I play tight end and I think I fit in very well. They (Marrone and Greg Adkins) have coached great tight ends. They play their tight ends. I am very excited."
