The 5-foot-8, 168-pound defender isn't on the verge of decommitting, but he said the Red Raiders are coming after him hard.
"They keep telling me that both of their starting cornerbacks are seniors," stated Bethel II. "They say I can come in to a great opportunity and start as a freshman in the Big 12. They pass the ball around a lot and it would be a good opportunity for me to solidify myself and make plays."
When asked if he could see himself leaving home for college? He replied, "I can adapt anywhere, so it wouldn't be a problem."
The four-star cover man said the Miami coaches talk to him all the time and the fans don't have much to worry about it.
"They don't have much to worry about," noted Bethel II. "I mean not really. With the recruiting class we have coming in we should be able to do a lot of damage."
Bethel II predicted a Canes win over Virginia yesterday. He was happy to see Miami end their three-game losing streak.
As of now he doesn't have any other official visits planned. His team plays this Friday against Cocoa (Fla.) featuring 2016 Miami commit Chauncey Gardner in the Class 4A semifinals.
