Texas Tech leads for Green

Upon hearing of Dave Wannstedt's departure at Pittsburgh most of the Panthers' commitments decided to take a wait and see approach.
Defensive end Desimon Green immediately opened the recruiting process back up and on Sunday he told Rivals.com that four schools are currently under consideration, with one of those schools sitting at the very top of his list.

"I'm looking at Illinois, Michigan State, Texas Tech and Cincinnati," Green said.
"I'm going to Texas Tech either January 3 or January 10 and I'll probably visit all the rest of them in January, too. I'm stil playing football now.
"Texas Tech is sticking out because they've been there from the very start."
Green and his teammates at Clairton, Pennsylvania will be taking on Riverside in the state championship game this week.
No coaches have been by Green's residence for in-home visits yet, nor are there any plans for coaches to do that in the immediate future.
On the season Green has made 88 tackles and 14 sacks on defense.
