Texas TE travels to national champions

The Woodlands, Texas tight end Kyle Anderson just returned from the LSU junior day. How did the trip go?
“I was in Louisiana for a junior day just the other day at LSU,” the 6-foot-6, 260-pound Anderson said. “Everything went good. I saw a lot of things and got to look around the campus and the football facilities. My friend, Chad Watkins, went with me. He is getting recruited for baseball by LSU, so he spent the day with the baseball coaches.”

Other than the trip to Baton Rouge, nothing new has happened fro Anderson.
“There really isn’t anything new going on,” he said. “No new schools or anything, it’s just the same places I’ve been hearing from.”
Anderson’s list includes Arizona, LSU, Miami, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Arkansas.
“I would say Arizona, LSU, Miami and Texas A&M are kind of my favorites of the group right now. The others are right there, but maybe just a notch below.”
Anderson isn’t going to rush things to try and have a decision before the season starts.
“I’m not rushing into a decision. I’m talking to different schools about setting up official visits. Not sure if I’ll take all five or not. I might just take three visits. I did talk to LSU about coming down there for the Oregon State game (Sept. 4) probably, but nothing is for sure at this point. I don’t have any visits scheduled.”
