Texas TE still sorting it all out

New teams are making their way into the mix with Austin (Texas) McNeil tight end Alex Arndt and the two-star prospect is trying to narrow things down with more visits.
So far, the 6-foot-4, 222-pound player has been to UTEP on Oct. 21 and left with the Miners in a lead. However, things have evened out as he fields new interest from a host of new teams.

"I'm going to Stephen F. Austin on Jan. 13," Arndt said. "Then I'm going to New Mexico on Jan. 20 and they said they'd offer me on my visit. Missouri has been talking to me and they're coming down to see me soon."
He also took an official visit to Air Force on Dec. 16. That trip was comparable in some ways to UTEP but also different.
"They were both good, but it's completely different atmospheres," Arndt said. "It's a military service at Air Force with big tradition, but their dorms weren't as nice as UTEP. Plus, I really love the coaching staff at UTEP."
"Then again, the weight room facilities at Air Force were amazing. So there are things I liked and didn't like about it."
Arndt says his decision will be determined on how many more scholarships he receives.
"Whenever I'm sure the last one has come in, I'll decide," he said. "I thought it would be before Christmas, but now things are opening back up and I want to see where this all goes."
