Texas TE returns from third visit

Austin (Texas) McNeil tight end Alex Arndt is certainly making his way through the recruiting process with his visits.
The first visits were to UTEP and Air Force and No. 3 took place this past weekend as the 6-foot-4, 222-pound player took a trip to Stephen F. Austin.

"It went good, we pretty much saw everything they had to show us," Arndt said. "They showed us the town, the weight room, and it was really nice. The stadium was something I was really impressed with. The whole town kind of reminded me of where I used to live."
"Overall it was a good trip, I had a good time."
Arndt's next trip is to New Mexico this weekend. However, he has been sitting without an offer. That could change this week.
"The coaches are coming by the house, so I think that I may find out then about my offer," he said.
At one point, UTEP was leading, but now the two-star prospect is all open.
"There hasn't been one thing that has stuck out," he said. "They all have been great things about all of them, but nothing has every single thing I want. I may not ever find that, but I'm just looking for the best combination right now."
