Texas TE ready to set visits

Hitchcock, Texas, tight end Josh Bell is close to narrowing his list down to the five schools he will visit.
“I should be setting my visits this week,” the 6-foot-7, 250-pound Bell said. “I know which schools I want to visit. I want to visit Missouri, Syracuse, Kansas State, Miami and UCLA.”

He’s not ready to plug dates into the calendar just yet, though.
“I need to talk to my coach about which dates,” he said. “I want to make sure if I’m going to be gone, it doesn’t interfere.”
Bell and his Hitchock teammates have been going through two-a-day practices recently in preparation of the season opener.
“Everything has been going well in practice,” he said. “We open this Friday. We are ready. It will be nice to get a team on the other side so we can quit going against our own team.”
While Bell continues to receive a lot of mail, he hopes to have a decision before his season reaches the district games portion.
“I want to have my decision before district games start so I can focus on them. That is the key to the season, winning those games. If I can have this out of the way, I won’t have to worry about it.”
