Texas TE re-schedules trip

Alvarado, Texas tight end Justin Kessler was scheduled to take his fourth official visit of the year this weekend, but he had a change of plans.

“Justin ended up not being able to go to Colorado,” Alvarado’s mother said. “He caught an upper-respiratory infection last week and he didn’t feel like doing much of anything, let alone flying. He called Colorado and told them he wouldn’t be able to make it. He was just in some pain. He has re-scheduled it for the second weekend of December.”

The 6-foot-4, 227-pound Alvarado has already visited Missouri, Utah and Baylor.

“He really wants to take this visit before he makes a choice. He was disappointed he couldn’t go, but he’ll make it up.”
