Texas TE plans late summer trips

Things are going relatively the same for tight end Harold Turnage. Sitting tight at five scholarship offers, Turnage has some visit plans in the works.
Turnage, the 6-foot-3, 260-pounder from Houston (Texas) Chavez, says that he'll head out to Texas A&M in a few weeks. First, he'll go check out LSU and try to get to Miami before the season is over.

"My dad spoke with the coaches from LSU, and we're supposed to be going out there at the beginning of next week," Turnage said. "If I can't get to Miami, I'll go during the season. I was supposed to go to A&M this week, but we pushed it back a little bit."
Turnage says that he has no favorites and it's "pretty even" right now.
"Texas A&M has been recruiting me real hard with a lot of text messages and they have me call them," he said. "The coach from Miami sends a lot of text messages too. It's just been a lot of communication."
The talented Texan says he'll most likely wait a while before deciding.
"I'll probably just wait until midway through the season," he said.
