Aldine (Texas) Eisenhower is one of the top programs in the Houston area and is known for producing great talent. Tight end Brandon Perkins is perfect example.
Recruited heavily by many major D-I programs early in the process, Perkins slipped from the hot list until just recently.
That's when he visited Texas Tech and then visited Kansas this past weekend.
It was on that visit to Kansas that he committed to the Jayhawks.
"It was a good atmosphere and a good football town," Perkins said about Kansas.
"They were real friendly and made me feel like I was part of the team."
Perkins said he is complete with the recruiting process and ended up picking KU over Tech, Colorado State and New Mexico.
