Texas TE makes decision
Alief (Texas) Hastings tight end Eddrick Gilmore took just two official visits in the recruiting process, a September trip to Texas El-Paso and a trip to North Texas last weekend.
"I had a good visit to North Texas," the 6-foot-5, 255-pound Gilmore said. "I enjoyed talking to the players and the coaches. The school is good and I like the academic fields that are available.

"I am committed to North Texas. I was leaning toward UTEP after my visit there earlier and the way they recruited me, but in the end, I just think that North Texas is the better place for me."
Gilmore had earlier also received interest from Houston, Syracuse, Texas Tech and Utah.
