Texas TE looking at several schools

Alvarado, Texas tight end Justin Kessler has his eye on several schools at this point of the recruiting process. He plans on showing his talents at some football camps this summer as well.
“I think I will be going to camps at TCU and SMU,” the 6-foot-4, 240-pound Kessler said. “Those are the ones that I’m looking at right now to go to camp at.”

Kessler is receiving mail from the two schools he plans to camp at, in addition to others.
“I’m also looking at Iowa, Houston, Georgia Tech, Kansas and Baylor,” he said. “I don’t have any scholarship offers yet, though. I get a lot of mail.”
As a junior, Kessler hauled in 31 passes for 505 yards and one touchdown. His efforts landed him first-team all-district honors at tight end following his junior season.
Kessler plans on finding a school that uses the tight end in the offense.
“I am looking for a good academic situation in a school first,” he said. “I’m also looking at a school that uses the tight end in the offense. It doesn’t have to be one that throws every pass that way, but having it be a part of the offense is important.”
