Texas TE has visitors

After a successful showing at the NIKE Training Camp in Fort Worth, Texas several weeks ago, El Paso (Texas) Del Valle tight end Max Savedra has watched his recruiting process really take off.
Just recently during spring practice, UTEP coach Mike Price came by the school and Savedra found out later that he had picked up his first scholarship offer from the Miners. Several other schools such as Colorado, New Mexico State, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech have also stopped by.

"It's pretty exciting," Savedra said. "Everything is really going great. I had fun at the camp and there have been a bunch of coaches coming by my practices."
Savedra says that he's "always wanted to go to USC" but hasn't seen any mail from the Trojans yet. He's also very interested in Arizona State, TCU, and the other schools showing interest.
In June, he plans to get out to a Texas Tech camp. After that, his plans are up in the air.
"I have to talk to my about it, but from there I don't know where I'm going next," Savedra said.
So when is a decision possible?
"I figured I would wait until after the season and make a decision from there," Savedra said. "That way I can see who else is going to offer."
