Texas TE enjoys visit

Alief (Texas) Elsik tight end Tony Hills, Jr. took his first official visit this weekend.
"I had a real good time," the 6-foot-6, 260-pound Hills said. "The whole weekend was a lot of fun. But the banquet was the part to remember."

That banquet was to honor the Longhorns' 2002 campaign and also unveiled a big announcement for the 2003 season.
"Roy Williams announced he was staying," Hills said. "That was great. Everyone was excited about that. It just fit right in with the other great highlights from the season."
Hills indicated the family atmosphere as a definite plus for the Longhorns.
"Everyone is close. Kind of like a family. It was really nice. Everyone is there for you if you need something."
Hills plans to take all five of his official visits before making a decision.
"I don't have any other trips set up. But I'm talking to several schools about the possibility of visiting."
