Texas TE enjoys Missouri

Houston (Texas) Jersey Village tight end Gabe Ratcliff took the first of his five official visits over the weekend.
"Gabe got home and had to leave for work," Ratcliff's mother said. "But he said everything went good for him at Missouri. He was very excited about everything when he got home."

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Ratcliff was impressed by several things in Columbia.
"Gabe said he liked the way the school looked," she said. "He said everything was in good order and very nice. He got along with the players very well. And he said he had a good talk with the head coach about the program and how he could fit into it. He is going to consider them, but no school will be chosen until he takes his other visits."
Those other visits get started this weekend with a trip to Austin.
"He's looking forward to the Texas trip. That should be a good one for him."
The three other visits will come next month. He will travel to TCU (Jan. 9), Arkansas (Jan. 16) and North Carolina (Jan. 23).
