Texas TE enjoying first visit

Hitchcock, Texas tight end Josh Bell took his first official visit of the year when he re-worked his visit schedule and decided to head north to the Sunflower State.
"I'm still in Lawrence," the 6-foot-7, 250-pound Bell said. "The whole visit has been going real well. At first I thought, there is nothing to do up here in Kansas, but that is wrong. I've been very impressed. I like it here a lot."

Bell had a good talk about his situation in the Jayhawks' plans with coach Mark Mangino.
"I had a real good visit with Coach Mangino," he said. "He was telling me about how I fit into their plans and what they envisioned me doing. It was a good talk and I was impressed with him."
Despite the good trip to Lawrence, Bell isn't ready to make a decision, yet.
"I am going to take a least one or two more visits," he sid. "I feel I'm getting pretty close. Kansas is right up there. I like it here. I don't have any visits set in stone, but I have been talking to a few schools about visiting in January."
Bell's list of schools includes Wisconsin, Missouri, Syracuse, Utah and Texas A&M.
