Texas TE continues to add offers

Scholarship offers moving in quickly for tight end James Hanna.
The 6-foot-5, 216-pounder has added written offers now from Arizona, Louisville, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Stanford and verbal offers from Minnesota and Illinois. After visiting a few schools, Hanna says he has one school above the rest before more summer trips. He's also hearing from other schools that more offers could be around the corner.

"My top school right now would be Oklahoma State," Hanna said. "That's really one of the few schools that I've visited. I like their facilities a lot and their coaches. Coach Todd Bradford is my recruiting coach. He's really nice. He seems real knowledgeable."
A few of the offers were a bit of a surprise.
"Well, the Arizona came out of nowhere," Hanna said. "Louisville was a surprise too. I don't think I've received a lot of stuff from either of those schools before the offer came."
Alabama and Michigan are two other schools that Hanna mentioned as ones showing interest but have yet to offer.
"I spoke with (Alabama) coach Major Applewhite and he said they were going to come up and see me, but that I was what they were looking for," Hanna said. "I think he came up last week, but I didn't get a chance to talk to him."
This summer, Hanna plans to hit the road for more visits, but is unsure which schools he'll check out yet.
Two other schools that the talented prospect has visited include Texas and Oklahoma, but Hanna says neither school has offered yet.
"I spoke with coach (Bobby) Kennedy the other day and I know that UT is pretty tight on scholarships right now," Hanna said. "I haven't talked with OU in a while, but they've shown a lot of interest before."
