“Kyle keeps getting more offers,” The Woodlands coach Weldon Willig said. “He will have plenty of choices when it comes time for him to make his decision.”
The new schools that have extended offers include Nebraska, Oklahoma State, LSU, Arkansas and Northwestern.
“I don’t know what his count of overall offers is, but those are the newer ones he has. I think he has LSU and Texas A&M near the top of his list. He told us he talked to (LSU coach) Nick Saban and that is when they offered him.”
The 6-foot-6, 260-pound Anderson does have a couple camps on his schedule for this summer.
“I think his plans are to go to LSU, Texas A&M and Miami,” Willig said. “I don’t know if there are any others he is looking at, but those will keep him on the go for a while.”
As for a decision Willig thinks his standout tight end would like to have it over with before his senior year begins.
“I think he would like to get it over with and out of the way so he doesn’t have to worry about it. That would let him focus on playing and school and not have to worry about schools and recruiting.”
