The Early Signing Period is nearly upon us, and there are plenty of twists and turns remaining for some committed and uncommitted Texas prospects. Here are some predictions.

*****

The four-star defensive end has managed to keep people guessing every step of the way, keeping a low profile over the past few months while quietly weighing his options. At different points during the process it seemed like Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Alabama all led, so it’s not a surprise those programs are among his finalists, along with LSU. But the Sooners were the first major program to become a player for Stripling and in the end, I think that long-term relationship pays off.

Prediction: Oklahoma

*****

Another long-term fixture on the recruiting scene, Curry’s recruitment has also seen its share of ups and downs. Originally committed to Florida State prior to the start of his junior year, Curry backed off that pledge after Jimbo Fisher left for Texas A&M. Most assumed the pair would reunite in College Station, but Curry took a widespread approach to his recruitment, entertaining Auburn, Tennessee, Penn State and Arizona, among others. Ultimately, it’s likely the Wildcats that land his commitment, especially with his friend and high school quarterback, Grant Gunnell, already committed to the school.

Prediction: Arizona

*****

Wolfe’s recruitment has been filled with its share of drama, as he has made three different commitments during the process: one to Ole Miss and two to Texas A&M. Now Wolfe is down to Arizona and Arkansas, with his last de-commitment coming while he was on campus in Tucson. His long relationship with Kevin Sumlin, which dates back to when both were linked to the Aggies, likely wins out, and Wolfe heads to the Pac-12.

Prediction: Arizona

*****

A prolific pass-catcher in the state of Texas, Anderson has the attention of several programs with high-powered offenses. After an early push from Arizona State, his recruitment seems to have settled into a battle among Big 12 programs Oklahoma State, Baylor and Texas Tech, with the SEC's Ole Miss also trying to make a late play. In the end, it’s tough to see Anderson going out of state, and the Bears seem to be in the best position heading into his decision.

Prediction: Baylor
