Texas safety ready for first visit

Arlington (Texas) Bowie safety Aaron Carr continues to entertain coaches in his family’s living room and now he is preparing to take his first official visit of the recruiting season.
“Aaron is getting quite a bit of attention,” Bowie coach Anthony Criss said. “He is going to go to UTEP tomorrow for his first official visit.. I know he is looking forward to that trip. They’ve been doing a good job of recruiting him.

“Then next week he will be going to Toledo. After that trip, he will continue to see what other schools are interested. He is going to take an unofficial to TCU since it is right near here. He is also looking at traveling to Baylor in January for an official visit.”
The attention from coaches has carried over to Criss’s office in addition to the Carr home.
“I have three or four in my office per day. I know he had UTEP in his home on Tuesday and there were two or three others this week, too. He is just trying to take all of this in and then he will make a decision after he has taken three or four official visits.”
