Denton (Texas) Ryan safety Xavier Kelley continues to add scholarship offers to his list.
“I have offers now from Tulsa, Missouri, Kansas State, Arizona, LSU, Colorado and Nebraska,” the 6-foot, 190-pound Kelley said. “Texas A&M has talked about offering, but they haven’t, yet.”

The Kelley family phone has continued to ring heavily.
“I have gotten lots of phone calls,” he said. “I’ve had a lot of nice talks with coaches. It’s been fun so far.”
The schools having called are Arkansas, Nebraska, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Missouri, and Kansas State.
“Right now, my favorite is Kansas State,” he said. “I just like their program and Coach (Greg) Peterson is the coach recruiting me and he seems like a really nice guy. I’m going to their camp in June. I am also going to the Texas, Arizona, Tulsa, Arkansas, and Nebraska camps.”
Kelley has two things he is looking for in a college.
“I want to find a good coaching staff that I can get to know and trust. I also am looking for a school with good academics. If I find the right place, then I would go ahead and commit, but I am not looking to do that too early.”
