Texas safety lines up first visit

Arlington (Texas) Bowie safety Aaron Carr has four scholarship offers and now he has lined up his first official visit.
“I still have offers from Baylor, Kansas, Toledo and Tennessee State,” the 6-foot, 184-pound Carr said. “Nothing new from them. They’ve all called, too. I also have gotten a call from UTEP. They want me to come down for an official visit the weekend of Oct. 1.”

With one official visit on the calendar, Carr is not rushing into setting the other visits.
“I’m not sure who else I will visit,” he said. “I like the schools that are calling me. I will just need to sit back and take in what they have to say and then find the best place for me.”
Carr’s Bowie squad has played two games on the season, so far.
“We’ve played two games. We are not coming together as a team. We haven’t won either of our games yet. I have 18 tackles, one interception and one sack so far. We play
Tyler John Tyler this week. We need to play our “A” game if we want to stay in this one.
Hopefully we can stick with them and pull it out.”
