Texas safety favors two

Arlington (Texas) Bowie safety Aaron Carr had previously planned to take his first official visit to UTEP. He did not make the trip and now is waiting to see what comes next.
“I’m really no closer to doing anything,” the 6-foot, 184-pound Carr said. “I will take my visits after the season is all over. I have been talking with some schools, but have not scheduled any yet.”

The schools Carr is talking to about visiting include Utah, Kansas, Arkansas State, UTEP and Toledo.
“My favorite two schools right now would be Kansas and Utah,” he said. “I have offers from Kansas, Toledo, Baylor and Tennessee State. I’m hopeful there will be more offers to pick from.”
Carr is close to putting the finishing touches on his senior season of high school football.
“It hasn’t been a good year for us,” he said. “We are 1-8. We don’t have any chance to go on, but we are just trying to play hard. I’m giving it all I have when I’m on the field.”
On the season, Carr has recorded 66 tackles and three interceptions.
