Playing the waiting game is the master plan for Giddings (Texas) running back Dominique Crawford who is holding one offer.
Purdue, the current favorite, is the lone offer for the 5-foot-10, 185-pound two-way player who stars in the offensive and defensive backfield for his team. A few other teams may be joining the offer ranks real soon.

"After our first two games this year I'm going to send game tapes to (Texas) A&M, Baylor, and Missouri," Crawford said. "They're going to look at the tape and see if they want to offer."
The Purdue offer has them as the favorite and still excites him when he looks back on receiving it.
"It was great because when you get offered by a school, such a good school like that, it just blows your mind," Crawford said. "It was fun and it shocked me for a moment. My parents, friends, coaches, and everybody were just real excited when it came."
Two tentative timeframes are set for a couple of visits.
"I'm going to Purdue sometime in September," Crawford said. "I can't remember when, but it will be sometime in that month. I'm going to Missouri sometime in November to see my brother, who plays for Baylor, play the Tigers. I just want to meet the coaches at Missouri."
"I'll probably make that an official visit if I can."
Right now, it's hard for the speedy back to hide his excitement about the football season.
"Football is here," he said. "I'm just ready for the season to start."
Crawford put together a 1,181 yard, 16 touchdown junior season.
