Texas RB waiting on test

Houston (Texas) Worthing running back Marcus Cross took his SAT test last month. And schools are waiting to hear from him.

"I was hearing from LSU, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Arizona and lots of others," the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Cross said. "But my test scores aren't as good as they need to be. I'm waiting for my last time to come back. I'm already set up to take it again on Jan. 25 if I don't get what I need to this time."

While several schools have backed off, one school continues to pursue the No. 7 rated all-purpose back in the country.

"Missouri called the other day. They are fairly new to the mix for me, but they are very interested. They want to come by the school the first day they can and set up an official visit with me.

"I'm pretty sure I'll find a day to make it work out. They're about it that is showing much interest in me right now."
